Position: Director – Faith Based Center

Overview

Join Our Faith-Centered School Community as the Director of Early Learning!

Faith-Centered Early Learning Center is seeking a passionate, visionary, and relationship-focused Director to lead our top-tier, licensed center serving children aged 18 months to 5 years. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to drive program excellence, nurture a thriving staff culture, and champion a cohesive educational experience that connects early learning directly into our K-8 school.

We’re Looking for a Leader Who Is
  • A Mission-Focused Partner:
    Centered in Christian faith, with a preference for being a regular part of the Church leadership community. Views K-8 Administration and Church leadership as valued allies and friends in ministry.
  • A Positive Team Builder:
    Possesses a warm, responsive leadership style, always maintaining a positive attitude and actively speaking well of all teammates and teachers.
  • A Financially Astute Manager:
    Understands and embraces the ELC as a profitable ministry with a goal of achieving a $200,000 annual surplus for the cost-center.
  • A Champion for Child Safety:
    Committed to passing a cleared background check and serving as the primary advocate for child safeguarding. This includes proactively maintaining a protective culture, processes, and systems aligned with state regulations and our faith-based mission.
  • An Engaged Leader:
    Willing to hold teachers accountable for performance and actively seeks to build relationships by being visible to and greeting parents daily.
Key Responsibilities
  • Achieving financial targets and maintaining the ELC’s status as a profitable ministry (annual surplus goal of $200,000).
  • Building positive, communicative, and consistent relationships with all parents/guardians, including being highly visible and accessible.
  • Proactively partnering with Church leadership and K-8 Administration in strategy (attending approximately two monthly joint staff meetings).
  • Leading enrollment efforts and creative spiritual outreach to ELC families.
