Cross Country Education is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker passionate about providing critical social-emotional support and helping K-8 students overcome barriers to learning in Denver, CO
, for the school year.
- Deliver mandated Social-Emotional counseling minutes for a consistent K-5 caseload of approximately 30-35 students, ensuring all IEP and 504 plan requirements are met.
- Develop comprehensive social-emotional components of student plans, including behavior data analysis, individualized goals, benchmarks, and necessary accommodations or modifications.
- Monitor student progress through diligent data collection to ensure interventions are effectively supporting student growth and classroom success.
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider (SSP) license (Minimum: LSW + graduate-level coursework in special education)
- Prior experience navigating the IEP/504 process, including goal writing and behavior data interpretation within a K-5 school setting
