Position SummaryThe Department of History at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty positions to teach courses across our broad range of content. These positions are temporary and require an ability to teach both in-person and online.

ResponsibilitiesAffiliate faculty duties include teaching assigned classes in person or online, preparing course materials, grading, providing feedback, addressing student questions, and supporting students academically. Candidates should be adaptable to various teaching modes and sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse student body.
Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree in history or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications- Doctorate in History or related field
- Teaching experience, with assignments based on departmental needs and the candidate's background
Part-time, at-will, per-credit-hour employment, usually semester-based. Not eligible for benefits. Teaching is expected to be on campus initially.
