Position: PARAPROFESSIONAL, STUDENT MONITOR - 9TH-12TH GRADE

High School Paraprofessionals:
High school paraprofessionals typically support academic subjects, help students stay on track for graduation, and may focus on job skills, life skills, or college preparation. They often assist in specialized programs and help ensure a safe, productive learning environment.

* Salary Range:
New hires will be set at $21.787 per hour. The salary range for internal candidates is $21.787 to $26.123 per hour.  for more information on compensation for these roles.

What You'll Do:

* Assists students with assignments

* Obtains and organizes student resource materials

* Informs supervisor of any concerns or problem situations as necessary

* Provides back-up support to other positions as required or requested

* Monitors student activity in classrooms, computer laboratory, hallways, lunchrooms, playgrounds and other locations as required or requested, maintaining order and discipline

* Implements classroom behavior management strategies

* Communicates with teachers, counselors, and other administrators about performance and disciplinary issues

* Maintains the confidentiality of student information
