Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our educational team. In this full‑time position, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of young learners, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes academic and personal growth. You will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and creating a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Foster a love for learning by incorporating innovative teaching methods and hands‑on activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student development and address individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
- Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Support the social and emotional development of students, addressing any concerns or challenges as they arise.
- Organize and participate in school events, parent‑teacher conferences, and other community activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid Wyoming PTSB teaching certification in elementary education.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt to various learning styles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Previous teaching experience in an elementary setting is preferred but not required.
- Must pass a background check per district requirements.
