Job Description:
The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Supervisor is the onsite leader responsible for leading a team of early childhood professionals and maintaining the day-to-day program oversight of Mount Saint Vincent’s early childhood programming. The ECE Supervisor is tasked with promoting developmental growth through a strong intentional play-based community by providing leadership to the teachers, maintaining program operating procedures, and ensuring program growth and financial sustainability.
The ECE Supervisor is the first line of representation in welcoming families and children, to ensure outstanding care and quality service.
Pay Rate: Based on Experience
Shift Details: Full-time (40 hrs/wk). Day Shift (Monday - Friday) – Shift can vary based on program needs but program is open 7:30am-5:30pm. We occasionally have school events that may go over 5:30pm.
Location: Early Learning Center at Mount St. Vincent Home (Denver area)
Minimum Qualifications- Completed Director Qualifications through the State of Colorado
- Demonstrated leadership experience in Early Childhood Education
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive driving motor vehicle (DMV) record, proof of current automobile insurance coverage, and a copy of a valid driver's license
- Basic Life Support and First Aid within 60 days of employment
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Early Childhood Education or Human and Family Services
- Bi‑lingual in Spanish
- Ensures program adheres to the Colorado Department of Early Childhood, Colorado Shines, and State Licensing requirements and guidelines.
- Leads a team of early childhood professionals and participates in hiring, onboarding, training, retention, and performance evaluations, fostering team engagement and growth. Maintains team engagement as a priority and engages teams in shared responsibility for professional growth.
- Expertly utilizes trauma‑informed and developmentally relevant care to establish and maintain strong relationships with children, effectively interpret behavior, and appropriately respond to meet the student’s needs.
- Develops and assesses family engagement opportunities to exceed standards of care and provides family members with relevant educational information, resources, and timely recommendations.
- Upholds curricula and developmentally relevant standards that support our mission and educational excellence. Works with teaching team to incorporate principles of child development and education into age‑appropriate classrooms to meet physical, cognitive, and social‑emotional needs of children and their families.
- Ensures that educational services are delivered in a culturally sensitive manner and that all federal, state, and local educational requirements are met.
- Together with the Education Manager, responsible for enrolling children and families into the program and monitoring the on‑going enrollment and waitlist of children into the program. With agency leaders, develops outreach and marketing strategies to achieve census targets.

- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
- Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
