Position: School Social Worker Hiring ASAP for 26/27 - near Castle Rock, CO

About the Role

Bring your expertise in school social work to a vibrant educational setting, supporting K-12 students across two school environments near Pine Valley, CO. This onsite, full-time contract opportunity during the  school year offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the Colorado Springs area. With a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students, you’ll provide direct support, working collaboratively with staff and families to facilitate student growth, success, and well‑being.

Qualifications

& Experience
  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in hand, or eligible and willing to apply
  • Prior experience working as a school social worker, preferably supporting K-12 populations
  • Knowledge of strategies to address varying learning needs and socio‑emotional challenges
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt services for students with diverse backgrounds and ability levels
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized and group‑based services that address students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
  • Engage with students as unique individuals, utilizing a range of supports tailored to varying abilities and interests
  • Maintain ongoing supervision to ensure student health, safety, and welfare throughout the school day
  • Set and communicate high expectations for students, fostering critical thinking, problem‑solving, and self‑advocacy skills
  • Strictly adhere to school and district policies governing the care, safety, and educational standards for students
Compensation & Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.00 to $45.00/hr eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
