Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic
Youth Drone Instructor
to lead engaging workshops and classes that inspire creativity and skill development. This hands‑on class introduces students to the basics of drone flight, safety, aerodynamics, and creative challenges using beginner-friendly drones. The ideal candidate is tech‑savvy, patient, and passionate about inspiring young learners in STEM levels.

Responsibilities
  • Teach students the fundamentals of drone flight, safety protocols, and drone technology.
  • Supervise and assist students during hands‑on flying sessions and group activities.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children.
  • Develop a curriculum, including fun challenges like obstacle courses or team missions.
  • Monitor student progress, ensuring all participants are engaged and following safety rules.
  • Set up and maintain drone equipment; report any technical issues.
  • Communicate with program coordinators and parents as needed.
  • Ensure classroom and outdoor areas are clean, safe, and organized.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a teaching, tutoring, or camp setting.
  • Familiarity with drones, remote‑control devices, or similar technology (training can be provided).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for STEM education and hands‑on learning.
  • Ability to adapt lessons to different skill levels and learning styles.
  • Must pass a background check.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Drone operations
  • 1+ years in teaching
  • Has a reliable mode of transportation
  • Competent in creating lesson plans
