Position Summary

The Morgridge College of Education is hiring adjunct instructors for the 2026‑2027 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Teaching and Learning Sciences department, School Psychology program. Courses may vary. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar’s Office schedule of classes at https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). This posting serves for multiple openings during the 2026‑2027 academic year.

Basic

Teaching Duties
  • Collaborate with faculty course lead to adapt and deliver course;
  • Create and maintain course Canvas container;
  • Meet with students as needed;
  • Respond to student communication in timely manner;
  • Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate;
  • Grade in a timely manner;
  • Maintain regular communication with the faculty lead, particularly if a student‑related issue arises.
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s or terminal degree (depending on the course)
  • Teaching or clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching experience in both birth‑to‑12 and higher education settings
  • Experience with inclusive pedagogy and commitment to inclusion
  • Experience using technology to facilitate adult learning
  • Content expertise (depending on the course—e.g., assessment, counselling, etc.)

Course Rate

The course rate for this position is $1,290 per credit hour taught. The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, departmental budget, internal equity, market data, and course enrollment. Salary will not be based on sex or any other protected status.
