The Morgridge College of Education is hiring adjunct instructors for the academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in Counseling Psychology. Course details can be found in the Registrar’s Office schedule of classes at https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). This posting is for multiple openings throughout the academic year.
Essential Functions- Teach in person once or twice a week (depending on course).
- Create and maintain course Canvas container.
- Meet with students as needed.
- Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate.
- Grade in a timely manner.
- Participate in recruiting and informational events as needed.
- Collaborate with instructors of other sections if the course includes multiple sections.
- Master’s Degree
- Previous teaching experience
- Successful teaching/facilitation experience with adults at the graduate level.
- PhD
- Successful teaching/facilitation experience with adults in graduate education programs.
University administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Faculty schedules vary by term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. The academic calendars are posted on the registrar’s website at https://.

- Unexpected interruptions occur often; stress level is moderate to high.
- Noise level is quiet to moderate.
- Ability to sit or stand in front of a computer for an extended period.
- Occasionally required to move about the office or campus.
