At the YMCA, we’re looking for a Manager of Out-of-School Time to lead dynamic, licensed childcare programs that support youth, families, and communities every day.

Lead and support teams across multiple OST program sites
Ensure programs are safe, fun, and fully compliant with childcare licensing standards
Build strong relationships with families, schools, and community partners

The chance to impact kids and families every single day POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Senior Manager, OST, the Manager will be responsible for the oversight of operations, program development, staff supervision, and will create a welcoming environment for all. In addition, the incumbent will work closely with all departments to ensure all certifications and communication is set and clear with staff who work for multiple departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Program Quality & Implementation Ensure the delivery of high-quality Out of School Time programming aligned with YMCA standards, SEAL practices, academic support, and a whole-child approach.
Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of weekly program activities to ensure consistency, engagement, and developmental appropriateness.
Continuously assess program effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance participant experience across OST and Camp programs.
Staff Leadership & Development Provide supervision, coaching, and accountability to ensure staff adhere to YMCA standards, licensing requirements, and school district policies.
Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that reflects YMCA values and supports staff engagement and retention.
Operations & Compliance Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, YMCA policies, and school district requirements in partnership with Licensing and Risk Management teams.
Collaborate with health consultants (e.g., nurse consultant) to ensure all participant health plans are properly implemented and followed.
Implement and monitor policies and procedures to support safe, efficient, and effective program operations.
Step into staff-to-child ratios as needed to maintain safe supervision and program continuity.
