  • Salary Range:
    New hires will be set at $21.787 per hour. The salary range for internal candidates is $21.787 to $22.181 per hour. For detailed compensation information, view the Para Salary Schedule. The salary listed reflects the 2025–2026 school year. Salaries for the 2026–2027 school year are typically finalized and released mid-summer, with an effective date of August 1. If any updates or adjustments are made once the new salary schedule is finalized, all impacted individuals will receive the updated salary.

What You'll Do:

• Assists students with assignments
• Obtains and organizes student resource materials
• Informs supervisor of any concerns or problem situations as necessary
• Provides back-up support to other positions as required or requested
• Monitors student activity in classrooms, computer laboratory, hallways, lunchrooms, playgrounds, and other locations as required or requested, maintaining order and discipline
• Implements classroom behavior management strategies
• Communicates with teachers, counselors, and other administrators about performance and disciplinary issues
• Maintains the confidentiality of student information
