Overview
MSU Denver’s Classroom to Career Hub (C2
Hub) is focused on engaging all students in career readiness. The Student Employment Programs Specialist will manage the Off‑Campus Work Study program, develop and implement student employment and career readiness initiatives, and maintain partnerships across campus and community.
- Program Management (50%):
Oversee the Off‑Campus Work Study program, including outreach, training, agreements, recruitment, requisition, and communication. Develop and deliver a competency‑based professional development program aligned with NACE competencies. Coordinate the Student Employment Job Fair and support Student Employee Appreciation Week initiatives. - Assessment & Reporting (25%):
Maintain documentation on program participation, conduct site visits, develop and analyze surveys to assess the impact on student employment experiences, and report outcomes. - Supervisor Support (15%):
Provide professional development opportunities for supervisors and act as liaison between C2
Hub, Human Resources, Financial Aid, and other partners. - Campus Engagement (10%):
Participate in campus committees and strategic initiatives, maintain collaborative relationships with campus partners and community agencies, and integrate C2
Hub resources into student employment services.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience leading and executing programs, workflows, projects, or stakeholder‑facing operations across multiple departments, organizations, or community partners.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, CRM systems or similar process‑management tools.
- Experience in student services, workforce development, recruiting, career readiness, or related educational or community‑based settings.
- Experience planning and implementing events, trainings, workshops, outreach initiatives, or engagement programs.
- Master’s degree.
- Experience at a Hispanic or Minority Serving Institution.
- Knowledge of higher education, financial aid, and work‑study policies.
- Experience in career services, assessment and evaluation.
- Human resources/staffing experience.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in student employment.
- Familiarity with Workday or other similar candidate‑tracking systems.
Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Monday‑Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Occasional travel may be required for business or operational needs.
SalarySalary range: $47,300–$52,000. Final salary will depend on internal equity, experience, education, and training.
Location & Work ArrangementPrimarily on‑site at MSU Denver with the opportunity to work remotely one or two days per week with supervisory approval.
