The clinic is seeking a part‑time student employee who is able to support the clinic director in providing consultation to EdS students on their cases. This Assistant to the Clinic Director will need to be available on Fridays and Saturdays to work with the director setting up current and next quarter’s cohort groups and assessment schedules.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally orally and in writing.
- Ability to use Lyssn.
- Ability to greet families and help them to feel welcomed and comfortable.
- Ability to be highly organized.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel, specifically).
- Clinic skills when talking and working with parents/families.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Advanced skills in consultation
- Having completed CFSP 4351 and be a PhD student with advanced training in psychological assessment as well as advanced training in educational law (IDEA).
- Experience in customer service.
- Background in school psychology.
- Providing consultation to EdS students on their clinic cases.
- Helping them with scoring protocols.
- Interpreting assessment results.
- Helping the Clinic Director schedule for current and next quarter cases.
Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate to high.
Noise level is quiet to moderate.
Physical Activities- Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period.
- Occasionally required to move about the office/campus with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs.
