Affiliate Faculty Position
Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty to teach courses in gender, women, and sexualities studies.
Responsibilities include teaching one or more courses, preparing course materials and lesson plans, grading student work, providing timely feedback, addressing student questions, and providing academic support to students as needed.
Required qualifications include a master's in Women's, Gender, Sexuality and/or Feminist Studies or related field. Preferred qualifications include a doctoral candidate status, a demonstrated record of feminist instruction, and a commitment to inclusivity for the diverse student population.
Affiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired on a per credit hour basis. They are not eligible for benefit coverage and teaching assignments are dependent on budget and enrollment. Qualified candidates will be expected to teach in person/on campus upon hire.
The final salary is based on the number of credit hours assigned at a rate determined by university policy. The rate of pay per credit hour assignment can be between $1264 - $1482.
