Adjunct Faculty Position
This is a general posting that will serve to create a pool of applicants for adjunct faculty openings throughout the academic year. Should we have an opening and be interested in pursuing your application, we will contact you with specific information.
The Sturm College of Law is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach courses in the MSLA Program for the academic year. Adjunct faculty positions are non-benefited positions. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar's Office Schedule of Classes and at the registrar's course descriptions page.
Adjunct faculty are required to teach as scheduled, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments. Adjunct faculty are required to comply with all Law School and University policies and protocols. The Sturm College of Law operates on a semester system.
This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
Required Qualifications- Law degree
- Ability to teach at the university level
- Previous law school teaching experience
- College-level teaching experience
While the University's administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. The University's academic calendars are posted on the registrar's website.
Applications for this position will be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the academic year. This position will remain open until filled.

The compensation for this position will be $5,893 for a 3-credit course.
