Adjunct Faculty Position
This is a general posting that will serve to create a pool of applicants for adjunct faculty openings throughout the academic year. Should we have an opening and be interested in pursuing your application, we will contact you with specific information.
The Sturm College of Law is accepting applications for adjunct faculty for the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters of the academic year. Adjunct faculty positions are non-benefited positions. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar's Office Schedule of Classes and at the registrar's course descriptions page.
Adjunct faculty are required to teach as scheduled, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments. Adjunct faculty are required to comply with all Law School and University policies and protocols. The Sturm College of Law operates on a semester system.
Required Qualifications- Law degree
- Ability to teach at the university level
- Previous law school teaching experience
- College-level teaching experience
While the University's administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. The University's academic calendars are posted on the registrar's website.

Course RateThe compensation for this position will be between $3,535 and $8,838, depending on the number of credits for the class taught.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
