The Educational Services Clinic (ESC) offers assessment services for families and DU students in the areas of cognitive, academic/achievement, attention and executive functioning, social emotional, and autism scales. The assessments are administered by graduate students in the School Psychology program in the Morgridge College of Education.

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally orally and in writing.
• Ability to maneuver around the office.
• Ability to greet families and help them to feel welcomed and comfortable.
• Ability to be highly organized.
• Ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel, specifically).
• Clinical skills when talking and working with parents/families.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Interest in the areas of psychology, psycho educational assessments.
• Currently enrolled or having passed with a B or better in CFSP 4304 or CFSP 4351.
• Work Study Award.

• Answer the clinic phone and answer caller’s questions regarding clinic process, fees, assessments offered, and waitlist procedure.
• Conduct phone intakes for future clients/families.
• Check in families for testing, complete confidential filing duties.
• Collect and log payments from families.

• Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate to high.
• Noise level is quiet to moderate.
• Physical Activities
  • Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period.
  • Occasionally required to move about the office/campus with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs.
