Manager of Special Education Compliance- Fletcher Campus; SY

Rocky Mountain Prep (RMP) is a movement of educators, families, scholars, and advocates committed to changing public education in Colorado by democratizing college access for historically marginalized students and families. We operate twelve college-preparatory schools for students from early childhood through twelfth grade.

• Monitor and audit IEPs, FBAs, and BIPs to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and APS requirements.
• Lead network-wide systems to track IEP timelines, service delivery, and compliance indicators.
• Oversee evaluation, re-evaluation, and amendment processes to ensure procedural fidelity.
• Maintain accurate records for state reporting, including December Count and audit submissions.
• Partner with school leaders and special education teams to strengthen compliance practices.
• Provide training and coaching to staff on special education law, documentation, and best practices.
• Collaborate with district authorize rs and external partners to ensure aligned implementation.
• Identify compliance risks and proactively develop solutions to address gaps.
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to network leadership on compliance and program integrity.

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree (any subject).
• Knowledge of and experience with Special Education laws, compliance indicators, IEP monitoring and auditing, policies, procedures, programming, and best practices.
• Understanding of curriculum, supervision, instruction, school-based processes and operations, culture, and community, with a strong student focus on individualized needs.
• Strong knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards, methods of ensuring they appear in IEPs, and inclusive practices for students with disabilities.

• Current Colorado teaching license with a special education generalist (5‑21) and/or special education specialist (5‑21) endorsement(s).
• Special Education teachers must be certified in Colorado; if the license is from another state, a transfer must be completed before the first day of work.
• Pass a background check.
• Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
• Use of E-Verify to confirm identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,000 to $95,000, based on experience and qualifications.
