Affiliate Faculty Positions
The Department of Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. The primary responsibility of this position is to teach one or more credit hours as determined by the department; areas of teaching include undergraduate and graduate courses. Teaching assignments are to the undergraduate and/or graduate program depending on department need and qualifications/expertise of applicants.
Affiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis for specific classes, usually on a semester-by-semester basis. Affiliate faculty are not eligible for benefit coverage under the University's benefit program. All such teaching assignments are dependent on budget and enrollment.
Qualified candidates will be expected to teach in person/on campus upon hire. The final salary is based on the number of credit hours assigned at a rate determined by university policy. Rate of pay per credit hour assignment can be between $1264 - $1482.

Providing specific course titles is helpful; see the online catalog for a list of undergraduate and graduate course descriptions. In your letter, you should also address your teaching experience. If you do not have teaching experience, please describe related experience and skills that will support effective teaching.
