Fatherhood Engagement Facilitator

We are seeking a detailed-oriented, highly organized professional to join our team. This position is responsible for the supervision, planning, and delivery of the 24/7 Dad curriculum. The aim of the program is to enhance the health and well-being of children and families by supporting, encouraging, and promoting fathers' roles in their child's lives. The Fatherhood Engagement Facilitator is responsible for delivery of evidence-based father-focus parenting curriculum in community locations, recruiting father participants by engaging community outreach activities and community education, as well as maintaining partnerships with other community-based organizations.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement with fidelity evidence-based parenting education programs and curricula.
- Create and deliver workshops, group sessions, and one-on-one coaching on various parenting topics.
- Tailor programs to meet the specific needs and cultural backgrounds of the families served.
- Initiate and set goals for family and parent education programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization.
- Develop and grow relationships with community partners to establish additional referral sources.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in parenting education.
- Serve as an advocate for parents and families and support CAA Health's efforts in the community through outreach activities, event participation, and information sharing.
- Track program effectiveness by monitoring participant progress and evaluating outcomes to make necessary adjustments.
- Work with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations.
- Develops and prepares correspondence, status reports, presentations, or other related information as requested by grants and supervisor.
- Ensures that deadlines are met and adapts to changing priorities.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, health education, or related field preferred and 1 year of experience in community outreach and program facilitation.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (Preferred, not required)
- Ability to lead interactive discussions, group activities, and skills building exercises.
- Ability to build rapport with parents and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of child development, family systems, and parenting theories.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- MS Office suite [Strong computer skills, familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint] and Google Docs
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
- Professional level verbal and written communications skill
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential organization/ client/service information and prepare internal and external as required
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- Initiative and capacity to respond effectively in stressful/crisis situations and multi-tasks
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with people and groups of diverse racial, ethnic, and economic backgrounds
- Ability to connect with diverse communities and forge strong relationships
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of The Center
