ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Trainer who will be responsible for training new hires within the Navigation Team as well as helping existing employees improve their knowledge and overall performance. The ideal candidate will bring experience in developing and delivering training content, identifying and addressing skill gaps in trainees, and strong facilitation skills. The healthcare environment is constantly changing and the ideal candidate will understand that materials need to remain dynamic and that constant upskilling is necessary to support the Navigation Department.
WHATYOU’LL DO
- Develop and maintain new hire training materials supporting all Navigation functions.
- Develop educational materials including instructional videos, manuals, presentations, and other reference materials to promote ongoing learning and development of the department.
- Partners with leadership and subject matter experts to develop a training library that includes both new hire training materials as well as other materials to support the ongoing learning and development of our staff. The Trainer will also be responsible for maintaining and auditing the library for relevancy and accuracy.
- Works in a cross-functional environment to proactively prepare/update training materials ahead of significant product launches/enhancements, new client launches, open enrollment, and more.
- Develop games, spiffs, and engaging activities to help keep trainees motivated while promoting our core values and culture.
- Measure the effectiveness of training programs via trainee feedback, individual and team performance/progress, etc.
- Conduct regular side‑by‑sides, observations, and quality assessments to identify knowledge gaps and develop strategies to address them.
- Scheduling and facilitating training sessions, including setting up materials, virtual meetings, classroom, etc.
NOTE:
New hire training will need to be conducted in person and onsite at the Denver Location unless otherwise approved by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or 2+ years of experience training in a call center environment preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and demonstrated ability to synthesize information and develop meaningful and impactful training materials.
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross‑functional environments and manage multiple stakeholders in order to deliver materials on time.
- Proficiency in Mac and Google Suite applications.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Exceptional time management and ability to prioritize and adapt to evolving priorities and requirements.
$56,000 - $70,000 Annually
