Position Summary
Adjunct faculty for the Kinesiology Program to teach courses in the KINE major and minor.

Adjunct faculty are required to complete DU-wide online training, plan and teach courses (some on-campus, some online via Zoom), be available to meet with students online or in-person, respond to student questions, assign and grade papers and exams, and adhere to DU policies and procedures. All faculty and adjunct instructors must be interested in and committed to improving their course design and teaching.

• Plan and deliver course content during the quarter, including presenting content, facilitating learning materials, and providing feedback to students.
• Facilitate sessions, conduct instruction, and guide student learning.

• Master’s degree in or closely related to sport, strength and conditioning, or kinesiology-related experience.
• Knowledge and skills to teach students in the KINE program.

• Doctoral degree in a related field.
• Teaching experience at the graduate level.

Courses are scheduled per the University’s academic calendar and may vary by term. Faculty schedules are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas.

Rate: $1,290 per credit hour (e.g., 4 credit hour teaching = $5,160).
