Assignment

Multilingual Education (MLE) Teacher for Early Elementary.

Reporting directly to the campus principal, the teaching team is the heart of the organization. We expect team members to be caring about the whole child, great planners, strong and nurturing classroom management, and excellent collaborators with teammates and families.

Position Schedule

Coordinators are paid year‑round on a salary. The school day runs from 7:45 am to 4:00 pm (4:30 pm on Fridays). Planned professional development occurs during the 189‑day work year, which includes 2 weeks of summer professional development. Teachers are expected to be ready for students by 7:45 am and stay until school closes each day.

Multilingual Education (MLE) Teacher Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with grade‑level peers to provide a rigorous yet supportive curriculum for all MLE students.
  • Use data to monitor student learning, make decisions about grouping, and determine next steps in lesson planning.
  • Meet in data teams, reflect on student progress, and support other teachers in interpreting data.
  • Meet at least weekly with the MLE team to co‑plan lessons and units; coordinate with special education or interventionist teachers as needed.
