Purpose of Job:
To teach students, collaborate with others to promote student achievement, and ensure that each student successfully achieves personal and program goals. To provide on-site direct support to the site staff and students in the overall management and operation of the school, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment. Assist with a wide range of tasks, including overseeing student discipline and fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Physical Presence :
Must be able to maintain a regular on-site presence to effectively support students, collaborate with colleagues, and fulfill the responsibilities of the role. While virtual work may be permitted based on specific site needs and work responsibilities, the ability to be physically present at designated locations as needed is essential to the successful execution of this position's duties.
Classroom Management
Classroom Attendance
- Establish clear classroom attendance expectations for students.
- Maintain expected student communication and document attendance utilizing identified GOAL systems.
Academic Intervention – MTSS
- Monitor student attendance data to identify and provide interventions to students who are not actively engaged in class.
- Ensure quality and timely documentation of all interventions provided.
Active Student and Parent Communication
- Communicate regularly with students and parents to keep the student progressing toward academic success, including, but not limited to, providing progress reports, class expectations, student participation rates, and, when needed, arrange student/parent/teacher conferences.
- Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with students and families based on trust, understanding and respect for the communities in which they identify.

Quality Courses and Instruction
- Utilize GOAL established guidelines for quality course structure and instructional practices.
Grading and Grade books
