To teach students, collaborate with others to promote student achievement, and ensure that each student successfully achieves personal and program goals. To provide on‑site direct support to the site staff and students in the overall management and operation of the school, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment. Assist with a wide range of tasks, including overseeing student discipline and fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

• Classroom Management:
  • Establish clear classroom attendance expectations.
  • Maintain documented student communication and attendance using GOAL systems.
• Academic Intervention – MTSS:
  • Monitor attendance data to identify and provide interventions to disengaged students.
  • Ensure quality and timely documentation of all interventions.
• Active Student and Parent Communication:
  • Regular communication with students and parents to progress toward academic success.
  • Provide progress reports, class expectations, participation rates.
  • Arrange student/parent/teacher conferences as needed.
  • Establish cooperation based on trust, understanding, and respect.
• Teaching/Tutoring – Quality Courses and Instruction: Utilize GOAL established guidelines for course structure and instructional practices.
• Grading and Grade books:
  • Maintain accurate grading and grade books in GOAL LMS (Schoology).
  • Ensure weekly gradebook updates by close of business each Friday.
• Gladiator Connections/Advocacy – Communication:
  • Build connections with staff, students, parents to support academic progress.
  • Attend family support meetings, use group messaging and meetings.
  • Provide updates on student academic performance.
  • Use effective communication skills to present information accurately.
• Extra‑Curricular: Possess and share general knowledge of GOAL Academy’s extra‑curricular activities and student opportunities.
• Student Learning – Assess and Monitor Growth:
  • Champion GOAL’s culture of assessment and ensure student participation and proctoring.
  • Utilize pre/post assessment data to monitor academic growth.
  • Identify student growth targets and needed interventions.
• Success Team:
  • Participate in bi‑weekly meetings with staff, students, and parents to progress toward success.
  • Work with team to develop strategies to improve student performance.
  • Assist and plan the distribution of hands‑on student supplies for courses offered.

• Must reside in Colorado.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Art required.
