Responsibilities
- Observe and coach candidates enrolled in the PEBC Teacher Residency Program
- Track, assess, and document candidate progress against program standards
- Provide feedback on licensure and seminar coursework
- Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum and Instruction to develop, implement, and monitor candidate support and probation plans
- Participate in regular one‑on‑one meetings with a Residency Team Director regarding candidate progress
- Attend required Residency Team and Manager of Resident Development meetings
- Maintain accurate records, communications, and evaluations related to candidate performance and progress
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education
- 5+ years of classroom teaching
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting adult learners
- Experience working with teacher residency, alternative licensure, or educator preparation programs
Demonstrates expertise in coaching and mentoring adult learners within educator preparation programs, with a strong focus on tracking and assessing candidate progress against established standards. Proficient in collaborating with educational leaders to develop and implement support plans for teacher residency candidates.
