This full-time contract position focuses on serving a small group of four students with effective needs in a K-8 educational environment. Your expertise will foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where each child can thrive, grow, and achieve their individual goals.

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certificate
• Experience working with students in elementary grades, particularly 2nd and 3rd grade
• Strong understanding of effective needs and differentiated instruction
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Adaptability and problem-solving mindset to address diverse student needs

• Design and deliver lessons tailored to students’ individual learning requirements
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to best support each child’s development
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to create an inclusive and positive classroom environment
• Modify curriculum as necessary to align with students’ abilities and state standards
• Foster social, emotional, and academic growth through personalized interventions

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.82 to $49.82.
