Mountain View Academy in Denver, CO is looking for a passionate and dedicated Closing Support Teacher to join our team! Mountain View Academy, a Reggio-based preschool near Lakeside Amusement Park, is looking to add an end-of-day closing teacher to our team. The hours are 2:30 PM- 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and support students during closing hours to ensure a safe and structured environment
- Assist with homework help, tutoring, and academic enrichment activities
- Facilitate engaging after-school activities and programs for students
- Communicate effectively with lead teachers and staff regarding student progress and behavior
- Maintain accurate attendance records and dismissal procedures
- Enforce school policies and positive behavior management strategies
- Coordinate with parents and guardians during student pick-up
- Level 2 on PDIS required;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred - Prior experience working with young children in a childcare setting
- Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Colorado state requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic team player with a student-first mindset

$18-$21/hour. Eligible for 1 hour of PTO for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours within a year.
