The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is looking for an affiliate faculty for in‑person teaching of PSY 454 Cognitive Psychology. This class focuses on psychological processes such as attention, memory, problem solving, and language and examines current research, data, theories, and applications. The course will be taught in the Fall 2026 semester, running from August 24 – December 13. The class meets in‑person on Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30‑10:45 am.

• Meet in‑person with the class as scheduled and hold 1 hour of office hours per week.
• Participate in designing your own course in consultation with the chair of the department.

Master's Degree in Psychology or related field.

Previous teaching experience and expertise in cognitive psychology.

This position will remain posted until filled.

This position is benefits‑eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
