English Language Arts General Education Teacher

Take your expertise as an ELA educator to a dynamic middle school environment! A full‑time contract opportunity is available for a dedicated ELA Teacher to engage and inspire students in grades 6 through
8. This onsite position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference throughout the academic year, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 20, 2027.

In this critical role, you will cultivate a passion for literature, language arts, and effective communication within a collaborative and supportive school community.

• Valid Colorado teaching certificate
• Proven experience teaching general education, specifically English Language Arts, at the middle school level
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, motivating, and supportive environment for all learners
• Collaborative approach and excellent communication with staff, students, and families

• Teach ELA to one class of middle school students (grades 68)
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles
• Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instruction as needed
• Foster a respectful and interactive classroom community
• Collaborate with fellow educators to align with school wide goals and initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and meet all required documentation standards
• Engage in school events and parent communications as appropriate
