Special Education Teacher - Denver

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience in a middle school or similar setting
• Familiarity with supporting students in math within inclusive and resource settings
• Strong ability to individualize instruction and adapt curriculum
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to design and implement IEPs effectively

• Serve 8th grade students in both push-in and pull-out formats, specifically targeting math instruction
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet individual learning styles and needs
• Monitor, document, and report student progress toward educational goals
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers, related service professionals, and families to maximize student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and support in goal setting and accommodations
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development
