RCM Healthcare Services seeks a Virtual Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments to support K-12 learners nationwide. In this remote role, you will provide specialized instruction, conduct functional vision and learning media assessments, and adapt curriculum using assistive technology to ensure full access for students with visual impairments. You'll collaborate closely with school teams and families, participate in IEP development, and document progress in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Provide virtual instruction and support to K-12 students with visual impairments, aligning with IEP goals and state standards
- Develop and adapt accessible instructional materials using screen readers, magnification, and other assistive technologies
- Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments and document findings in clear, timely reports
- Collaborate with school teams, families, and related service providers to design and implement individualized education plans
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies to support academic and functional skill growth
- Train students in use of assistive technology and compensatory skills to promote independence and access to curriculum
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings, case conferences, and professional consultations as required
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations and documentation standards
- Provide guidance to teachers and staff on accommodations, modifications, and accessible classroom practices
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to visual impairment, distance learning, and best practices in special education
