Part-Time 2nd Grade Teacher

Job Summary:

Hillel Academy of Denver, a leading educational institution in Colorado, is seeking a passionate and dedicated 2nd Grade Teacher to join our faculty. This is a unique situation. This class consists of 4 girls this year. These girls will be partially integrated with the grade above them. The goal is to accelerate their learning so they can be fully integrated by the end of the year.

This is an afternoon position. As their teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of these students, fostering a love of learning, and providing individualized support tailored to each student's unique needs.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for 2nd-grade students, aligned with our school's culture and standards

• Assess student progress, track student achievement, and adjust instruction to meet the needs of each learner

• Develop and maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging active participation, critical thinking, and creativity

• Communicate regularly with parents, keeping them informed of student progress and goals

• Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills and stay current with best practices
