-2027 school year - work 3 days a week one hour each wednesday for advanced students, thursday for the intermediate students and friday for the beginning students.

hours: 3:45 - 4:45 pm

mariachi ( no prior mariachi experience is needed, music will be provided) tutor must be versed in reading and playing music for either the guitar/vihuela, violin or trumpet

provides academic support and guidance to students, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs and learning styles. Offers feedback and encouragement to boost students' confidence and academic performance

• tutors students in assigned subject area(s), working one-on-one or in small groups
• provides personalized instruction using a variety of methods to meet the needs of different learners
• reinforces concepts presented in school, helping students to grasp difficult concepts, work through problems and improve overall academic performance
• helps students develop effective study skills
• maintains a positive and supportive learning environment
• tracks student progress and provides feedback to program staff
• makes suggestions for additional resources or materials to enhance learning

• high school diploma / ged
• bachelor's degree - preferred
• spanish - preferred
• minimum of 1-2 years of experience providing instructional support to students
• high degree of confidentiality
• no prior mariachi experience is needed
• effective time management and organizational skills
• effective communication skills
• strong attention to detail
• ability to take responsibility for one’s own performance
• works collaboratively with others on a team
• aptitude for variety and changing expectations in a fast-paced environment
• ability to coordinate and work effectively with site staff and a diverse student population
