Special Education Teacher

• Valid Special Education teaching credential or eligibility for Colorado certification
• Previous experience working with primary-age students preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and specialized instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet a wide range of learning needs
• Enthusiastic, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to student growth

• Provide specialized instruction to students with varied learning needs in a primary-age classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) according to district and state guidelines
• Partner with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure continuity of learning and student success
• Utilize assessment data to track student progress, drive instructional decisions, and report on outcomes
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom climate where every child feels valued and safe
• Demonstrate flexibility in meeting the needs of a diverse student population
