Job Summary
Multiple courses may be available for Academic Year in the Department of Community Health & Prevention including courses in behavior and social change theories, community theory and health practice, health communication, measuring health outcomes, outcomes and impact evaluation, global health, public health ethics, and history of public health. These courses have been taught previously, so previously used syllabi and course materials are available.
The adjunct faculty member will select course materials in accordance with the approved course description, foster active learning in all students, maintain proper course-related records, evaluate student work, and provide students with feedback. Courses that enroll 30 or more will usually have a teaching assistant. Some courses are online and asynchronous, others are in-person on Drexel’s University City campus.
