The Manager builds and maintains learning solutions across e-learning, instructor-led, and blended formats; administers designated LMS functions for L&D-owned and HR-required compliance learning; and uses data to improve learning quality, transfer, and impact.

The role works consultatively with subject matter experts and partners across CCH to support consistent, effective, and sustainable learning practices.

Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Learning Design & Development
  • Design and develop learner-centered experiences across e-learning, instructor-led, virtual, blended, and microlearning formats using adult learning principles and evidence-based instructional design practices.
  • Translate complex information, policies, and subject matter expertise into clear learning objectives, storyboards, facilitator guides, participant resources, job aids, and digital learning products.
  • Build and maintain e-learning using Articulate 360 and comparable authoring tools; use AI-assisted design tools appropriately to improve efficiency while retaining human judgment for accuracy, quality, accessibility, and tone.
  • Design learning paths that connect training, practice, reinforcement, manager support, and follow-up over time to strengthen skill transfer and capability.
  • Apply and maintain L&D design standards, templates, quality-review practices, and accessibility expectations across learning products.
Learning Management System Administration
  • Administer designated LMS functions for L&D-owned learning programs and organization-wide compliance learning for which People & Culture is responsible for assignment, tracking, or reporting.
  • Build and maintain in-scope courses, curricula, learning plans, groups, assignment logic, certificates, and reports; archive outdated content and support accurate, role-relevant learning assignments.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for in-scope LMS functions, identify recurring support themes, and develop job aids, communications, governance practices, or process improvements that reduce repeat issues.
  • Partner with HRIS, Information Systems, Quality, and other system owners to resolve technical issues and support learning-system functionality.
Measurement, Evaluation & Learning Analytics
  • Design and administer surveys and other feedback methods to evaluate learning quality, relevance, application, and impact using the Kirkpatrick model and other appropriate evaluation approaches.
  • Analyze learning participation, completion, engagement, and evaluation data and translate findings into clear reports and visualizations that inform program improvement and decision-making.
  • Use Excel and available reporting tools to identify patterns, inform program improvement, and support accountability.
Process, Workflow & Sustainability
  • Develop, document, maintain, and improve L&D workflows, SOPs, intake processes, production schedules, and shared resources that support consistent practice and reduce single points of failure.
  • Maintain clear ownership, review cycles, and quality standards for L&D-managed learning content and processes; identify outdated, duplicative, or inefficient practices and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent learning projects, balancing timelines, stakeholder needs, quality standards, and agreed organizational priorities.
Consultation, Facilitation & Partnership
  • Consult with subject matter experts, leaders, and People & Culture partners to clarify performance or learning needs, determine when training is appropriate, and design practical solutions within L&D priorities and capacity.
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate selected learning experiences and provide back-up facilitation for L&D-owned programs as needed.
  • Support administration and debriefing of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) when qualified, and contribute to learning practices that support belonging, cultural awareness, curiosity, and effective work across difference.
  • Model adaptability, sound judgment, curiosity, and collaborative problem-solving, especially when priorities, systems, or stakeholder needs change.
