Skills Needed: Lead Teacher/Assistant Requirements:
1) At least 18 yrs. or age
2) A willingness to complete (2) 3 semester hour ECE college level classes
3) Have a positive attitude, love of children, be reliable, and work as a team player.

Have a current Colorado Level I credential or (2), three credit hour college courses, one of which must be Intro. to ECE or Guidance Strategies.  (Or willingness to take the courses.), Or a BS degree in ECE, Elementary Ed, Special Ed., Family and Child Development, Child Psychology. Or a BS in an unrelated area and the (2) three credit ECE college courses. Or a current Colorado Level III, Version 2.0 credential via the Colorado Office of Early Childhood. Or a 2-year college degree, sixty (60) semester hours in ECE, which includes (2) three credit hour college courses, one being Intro. to ECE or Guidance Strategies and 6 mo. of experience. Or (12) twelve credit hours of college level ECE credits and 9 mo. of experience.

Skills Needed: Bachelor degree in a related subject matter and/or equivalent
Certification as required by state

Organizational and self-management skills; ability to handle multiple responsibilites effectively
