DesiredQualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification in Colorado)
- Previous classroom experience working with students with IEPs and diverse learning needs
- Strong collaboration skills with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
- Familiarity with differentiated instruction and behavior management strategies
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and challenges
- Deliver engaging lessons and adapt curriculum to address varying skill levels
- Track student progress, gather assessment data, and report on outcomes
- Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding goals and achievements
- Collaborate with general educators and support staff to ensure student success in the least restrictive environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, case conferencing, and professional development sessions
