Project Manager (APM / PM I / PM II / Senior PM) – Solar & Energy Storage (Traveling)
Overview
We are seeking multiple Senior Project Managers to support large‑scale utility solar and energy storage (BESS) projects across the United States. These roles support some of the largest renewable energy builds in the country, with projects typically exceeding 200MW and $200M+ in value. This is a 100% travel role offering long‑term project visibility and strong career growth within a rapidly expanding renewable energy platform.
Key Responsibilities- Lead full project lifecycle from preconstruction through commissioning
- Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Develop and manage project schedules (P6 or equivalent)
- Oversee subcontractors and self‑perform field teams
- Partner with Superintendents to drive field execution
- Manage risk, change orders, and client communication
- Lead and develop project teams (10–20+ personnel)
- 10–15+ years of construction project management experience
- Experience working for a GC or EPC contractor preferred
- Large‑scale project experience ($30M+ preferred)
- Experience with self‑perform construction strongly preferred
- Strong financial and scheduling ownership
- Renewable experience (solar/BESS) a plus, not required
- Backgrounds in heavy civil, industrial, or oil & gas welcomed
- 100% travel (projects nationwide)
- Rotation: ~3 weeks onsite / 5 days off
