Ulteig is currently seeking a Lead Construction Inspector. The base location for the potential candidates is flexible, but the Denver metro area is preferred, with a willingness to work remotely.
What You'll DoThe Lead Construction Inspector provides support to the engineers and acts as an assistant construction project team leader and manager with assigned responsibility for the coordination, execution, and construction management of engineering projects. Performs calculations using engineering formulas and skills. Assists with analysis for the development and implementation of engineering and construction-related services. Assists with other field staff and ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
Supervises less experienced staff and/or technical support and develops a solid team. This position will work long hours during construction season and may have minimal project-related hours during non-construction season.
- 5 years of related experience in municipal or DOT construction inspection required
- DOT, ACI, or related certifications for Asphalt and/or Concrete preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc) and Outlook proficiency, with an ability to learn more software packages as the work requires.
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- A commitment to quality and integrity
- A willingness to learn new skills, take on new challenges, and eventually take on increasing responsibilities
- Superior interpersonal and organizational skills
- Self-motivated; able to work independently and with a project team
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee‑owned culture is a must

- Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $38.00 – $51.50 / hour

This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 60 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
