Holland & Hart is looking for exceptional Patent Agents with 2+ years of experience to join our dynamic, growing patent practice.

Positions are open across the firm’s geographical footprint, including Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Washington, DC, and other locations on a case‑by‑case basis. We recently received several prestigious awards, including Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year (West) and U.S. Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year.

- Has 2+ years of recent experience in patent preparation, with experience in wireless telecommunications systems, standards‑related technologies, communication networks, electrical hardware and software, computer networks, semiconductors, storage devices, circuits, memory, AI, cloud computing, data security, or wearable technology preferred (but not required).
- Has a strong academic record with a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics/Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable fields.
- Is a practitioner who wants to grow their career, is innovative, and enjoys working in an innovative culture on cutting‑edge technology.
- Is registered with the USPTO to serve as a Patent Agent.

- Submit your resume, cover letter (specify geographic interest), a brief writing sample (publicly available patent application or office action responses or other technical writing), and undergraduate transcripts.
Holland & Hart’s compensation is merit‑based; you will be evaluated on performance and achievements. For Colorado positions, a good‑faith salary range is $120,000 to $275,000+. A discretionary bonus and other incentives may be available based on performance.
