A 100% employee-owned engineering firm, is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, design, and specialty services in stormwater and water resources. This role offers exposure to complex hydrology and hydraulics projects, mentoring opportunities, and a clear path toward project management.
Key Responsibilities- Support planning, design, and analysis of stormwater and water resources projects
- Conduct hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain, detention/BMP, and stream restoration design
- Participate in MS4 compliance, water rights, bridge scour, trail design, and water quality projects
- Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery
- Assist with drainage reports, FEMA Letters of Map Revision (LOMR), and civil/site design
- Participate in construction oversight as needed
- BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 6–12 years of stormwater engineering experience
- PE license in Colorado (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and XPSWMM
- 3+ years mentoring or leading junior engineers
- Valid driver’s license
- Civil design and site grading/layout experience
- AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS experience
- Construction oversight experience
