Primary Responsibilities

In the role of a W/WW Conveyance EIT, we'll count on you to:

* Create detailed designs of water and wastewater pumping systems, pressurized pipelines and gravity pipelines under instruction from the Project Engineer and Project Manager

* Prepare plans for pipelines and pumping stations, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work collaboratively with the owner design team members

* Assist with Construction Administration including shop drawing reviews and field inspections

* Perform other duties as needed

* Collaborative design development is key to our continued success. As such, applicants should expect to be in the office at least four days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

* Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate

* Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression

* Interest and experience designing water/wastewater pumping and conveyance systems

* Proficiency in technical report writing

* Must be able to work in a team environment

* Experience with hydraulic calculations for pump and/or pipeline sizing

* Experience with AutoCAD, Google Earth, and/or ArcGIS

* Experience with GIS

* Ability to demonstrate adept writing skills

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field

* Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities

* AutoCAD and/or Micro Station experience

* Microsoft Office experience

* Must be able to work in a team environment
