Structural Engineer ( EIT​/PE ) Commercial Buildings​/Multi-family​/Schools

Salary range: $85,000 - $110,000, commensurate with experience

We are seeking a 3-7 year Structural Engineer (EIT or PE) to join a growing buildings-focused team.

This role offers hands-on involvement across design, evaluation, and investigation of building structures, with exposure to both new construction and existing building modifications.

The position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys technical problem-solving, collaboration, and seeing projects through from concept to construction.

• Perform structural analysis and design for building projects using a variety of materials and systems
• Assist with evaluations of existing structures, including field observations and condition assessments
• Prepare structural calculations, technical narratives, and construction documents
• Develop drawings and details using Revit in coordination with project teams
• Support construction-phase activities, including site visits and coordination with contractors
• Collaborate with internal team members and external project partners
• Contribute to schedules, budgets, and design solutions appropriate to experience level
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• Master’s degree with a structural emphasis (preferred)
• 3-7 years of structural engineering experience
• EIT required; PE preferred
• Experience with building codes and structural design standards
• Proficiency with Revit
• Familiarity with structural analysis software (FEA experience a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable performing occasional field work, including site visits and assessments
