As an Industrial Technician I, based in Winter Park, CO you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted. You’ll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the operation, maintenance, calibration, diagnosis, and repair of the equipment, instruments, processes and support systems of an industrial wastewater treatment facility that processes 250K gallons a day.

You’ll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to complex challenges that may arise in the facilities. You’ll operate and monitor a single industrial wastewater treatment plant located in Winter Park, CO. Working with ultra membrane filtration, centrifuge operation, sludge decanting/processing, pH/turbidity meters, motorized valves, generators, and more. You'll also be collecting regular compliance samples, performing bench laboratory tests, overseeing contractors on site, and performing other duties as required to keep the treatment plant functioning properly.

Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well‑being of your team.

Here’s what you’ll need
  • Experience with industrial production techniques and industrial equipment
  • Knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data management software
  • Experience working in wastewater treatment
  • A valid driver’s license with no major infractions
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
  • A current, or working towards obtaining an intermediate level water/wastewater treatment certification
  • Some post‑high‑school education related to industrial water/wastewater utility operations and maintenance
  • Familiarity of the principles and practices of industrial water/wastewater treatment plant operations, valves, pumps, motors, and sample testing
  • Safe work practices

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $58,240.00 to $72,800.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
