We're building our project team in Denver
, seeking a Senior Associate, Registered Architect with a wealth of knowledge related to building enclosures, structures, and systems.
Our work covers most commercial building types, including office, retail, industrial, hotel/hospitality, and multi-family; focus on industrial and commercial (office, high rise multifamily) structure.
A Senior Associate is a registered Professional Architect and is responsible for understanding all aspects of a project relative to its scope, technical accuracy, potential risk, and client requirements.
Essential FunctionsAct as a technical team member and project lead
Collaborate with the client, internal team, consultants and site contact
Assume responsibility for an overall understanding of assigned projects
Review and analyze building construction and condition
Review and analyze contract documents including drawings, specifications, contracts and budgets
Perform building evaluations and construction monitoring
Prepare detailed formal reports (deliverables) in an organized and timely manner
Build relationships and develop business
Travel to sites as needed locally and regionally (25-50%)
Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree or higher in architecture or related field required
Minimum 15 years' industry related experience at an architecture, engineering or construction company
Registered as a Professional Architect in Colorado
Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High-level organizational, time management, communication and collaboration skills
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrable verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
Leadership skills and initiative
Strong technical skills in commercial construction a must, including regional code and building enclosure knowledge
Technical level of understanding of building types in order to perform services of the organization with limited supervision
Solid understanding of construction processes, sequence, and activities
Solid understanding of building materials and methods and building types
Knowledge of construction contract types and forms
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Plan Grid, Revit
Working knowledge of accessibility standards (FFHA and ADA) a plus
Willingness to travel 25-50% in and out of state

Annual base salary for this role is expected to be in the $120,000 to $150,000 range based on candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. This role is bonus eligible
