Thermal Analysis Engineer III

You will work directly with NASA as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program. You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon, this time to stay.

You will be a
** Thermal Analysis Engineer III
** within the Thermal Product Team. You will be responsible for performing and leading thermal analysis projects at system-level and/or subsystem-level for our lunar landers during ground, launch, Earth orbit, cis-lunar space, lunar orbit, and lunar surface mission phases.  Contribute to a team of Thermal Engineers simultaneously developing groundbreaking lunar landers. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.

** Responsibilities:
** Own the delivery and quality of thermal analysis of one or more spacecraft systems/components, often including the work of several contributing analysts Identify non-compliances to thermal requirements and drive them to resolution

** 5 years of relevant Thermal Analysis experience
** Desired

Qualifications:

** 8 years of relevant Thermal Analysis experience

Experience solving a variety of thermal problems demonstrating breadth in application
- Demonstrated experience in model correlation based on test results

Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, FORTRAN, Matlab)

Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
* Required for certain Job Profiles:
Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
