This role sits within a high‑performing conveyors group that delivers large steel structures, mechanical systems, and owner‑direct installations. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to manage tasks independently while thriving in a laid‑back, team‑oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities

+ Oversee RFIs, documentation, and project coordination tasks.
+ Utilize Excel and general computer tools for tracking, reporting, and project organization.
+ Support estimation efforts and review project scopes as needed.
+ Travel to project sites (typically 1-3 short trips per month).
+ Maintain a proactive, "doer" mindset-able to sit down, focus, and complete tasks independently.
+ Demonstrate teachability and willingness to learn a highly specialized project environment.
Required Qualifications
+ 4-7 years of experience in construction, industrial projects, mechanical systems, or related fields.
+
Experience with a GC, subcontractor, or engineering firm.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical and project information clearly.
+ Proven ability to organize tasks, manage to‑do lists, and prioritize effectively.
+ Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with large steel structures and industrial equipment.
+ Proficiency in Excel and general computer applications.
+ Willingness to step directly into a full Project Manager role (not a PE/APM track).
Preferred Skills
+ Bluebeam (basic proficiency)
+ AutoCAD (ideal)
+ Estimation experience
+ RFI management
+ Construction management
+ Mechanical engineering exposure
Work Environment
+ Office‑based role with regular travel to out‑of‑state project sites (1-2 nights per trip).
+ Laid‑back, less formal culture-jeans and tennis shoes are the norm.
+ Highly collaborative, social team environment.
+ Brand‑new facility with top‑tier equipment and impressive views.
+ Fast‑growing organization with a strong reputation and long‑term customer relationships.
+ Emphasis on performance, teachability, and culture fit over pedigree or specific project experience.
Compensation & Growth
+ Compensation targeted around $110K, with potential up to $120K for highly experienced candidates.
+ Profit‑sharing
+ Significant opportunity for performance‑based raises.
+ Company invests heavily in training and will support development in any skill gaps.
